As of January 1, 2019, the accreditation schemes of STERKIN and KvINL (formerly KBI / SEI) have been integrated into the new accreditation organization InstallQ. The objective is to formulate unambiguous accreditation schemes in the various disciplines that contribute to transparency and support. The sector urges to provide a higher quality level by the new accreditations!
The current STERKIN and KvINL approvals will remain valid until 2021. In the meantime new InstallQ accreditations are developed. The new gas, water and electricity accreditations are expected to be ready this summer. The solar accreditation will follow. Until 2021, we have 3 accreditation schemes: STERKIN, KVINL and new InstallQ accreditations.
Companies that currently have both a STERKIN and a KvINL accreditation are advised by InstallQ to maintain the STERKIN accreditation and cancel the KvINL accreditation, due the intended plans to rise the desired quality level and associated assurance. In the new accreditation regulations, stricter requirements regarding education level, continuous education and checks will be formulated. These elements are currently best represented in the STERKIN accreditations.
New applications for accreditation will, until the new InstallQ regulations have been designed, be assessed according to STERKIN standards. Applications for Zonnekeur are now based on both KvINL and STERKIN accreditations.
Our Solar-Specialist & Solar-Topfitter courses have been qualifying for STERKIN-ZON accreditation for years and are therefore a good choice for those who want to become an accredited solar power installer.
Our specialist one-day trainings Solar-Electrical, Solar-Inspection, Solar-Economics, Solar-Storage & Optimization, Solar-Standalone & Hybrid, Solar-Sales and PV*SOL-Design all come with a certificate; they can be used excellently to stay up to date with respect to the qualifications.
We will continue to communicate new developments in this area.
